Masimini gets a 2-0 beating

Masimini was not so lucky during its Tsamaya League game on Sunday against Deep Level.

The game was played at the Tlakula Ground where the supporters came out in numbers to witness their teams battle for a win.

Many went to the fields to see how Masimini was going to perform against Deep Level after winning the game against the RDP, one of the harder teams to beat in the league.

Both teams played to their best ability.

Deep Level played to prove a point that they are also the best in the league while Masimini was under pressure after their win last Sunday when playing on the same pitch.

An electrifying game started with both teams showing hunger to register a win under their names.

The first half ended with Deep Level in the lead following Mzwandile Ndwandwe’ goal.

Masimini supporters and players did not seem to be worried by Deep Level’s first goal, but believed that time for them to equalise would come.

It was when Deep Level’s Reuben Lekala extended the lead that Masimini’s hope of equalising died.

Deep Level which was leading by two goals strengthened its defense and strongly attacked, looking for a third goal.

Before Deep Level could score another goal and Masimini put the ball behind the net, the referee blew the whistle to end the game.

Deep Level supporters and players left the ground with smiles on their faces after a 2-0 victory.
