Falcons beat the Masters
The rain on Sunday did not stop the Springs Local Football Association (SLFA) game between the Mighty Falcons and Young Masters.
The game was played at the KwaThema Sports Complex.
The premier division game saw the Falcons winning the game.
However, the game was not easy for either of the teams as the first half of the game ended with neither team registering a goal.
The referee blew his whistle to end the first half and the coaches got a chance to talk to the players and advise them on how to attack the opponent.
Coming back from the short break after the first half, Falcon’s Bongani Majola put the first goal for his team behind the net.
Scoring the first goal gave Bongani more energy as he scored a second goal for the team.
The game ended with an overall score of 2-0 to the Falcons.
