Tsakane’s ‘Mayweather’ talks about ‘fight of the century’
KwaThema- The 'fight of the century' between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is still the talk of the town among boxing fans.
Mayweather successfully defended his welterweight titles against Pacquiao, in a highly anticipated fight in Las Vegas, USA, on Sunday.
Mxolisi ‘Mayweather’ Nombewu, the world bantamweight champion from the Geo Maroon Boxing Club in KwaThema, believes the fight proved Mayweather is a born fighter.
He also, however, believes Pacquiao fought hard.
“Pacquiao is the only fighter who has managed to give Mayweather a hard time in the ring,” says Mxolisi.
Mxolisi will be defending his own title next month and appealed to residents for support.
