Palesa’s hard work pays off

On her first appearance at the Brutal Fruit Premier League, which recently took place at the University of Pretoria Sports Campus, she was named the player of the match.

Mbukwana, who plays for the Mpumalanga Sun Birds team, never anticipated she would receive the title this soon.

It is evident that her hard work and preparations for the league have paid off.

“I know how difficult it is to prove yourself on the court, and this time it paid,” says Mbukwana.

Now that she’s shown her capabilities, she is under pressure to always out do herself.

The Ekurhuleni Netball Associaton League starts today (Friday), and Mbukwana will be playing for the KwaThema Spartans netball team in the league.
