M.O.M Seboni are regional champs
Duduza - On Monday, M.O.M Seboni Secondary School's u/19 soccer team won the Kay Motsepe School League regional finals, at the Michael Mkwanazi Sports Ground, in Tsakane.
M.O.M Seboni won 2-0 against Allen Glen Secondary School, from Johannesburg, moving them to the Gauteng provincial finals, taking place in August.
This will be the second time the school team will be representing the Gauteng region in the tournament.
Team coach Abraham Bambisa (26) says he is very confident that his players will do well and get the cash prize.
“We have come close to the prize money before, and I know that my players have learnt from their mistakes and will surely do well,” he says.
Bambisa adds that the prize money will help the team a lot in terms of a new kit and the upkeep of their sports grounds.
