Amazozo will take on Polokwane City
Kwatsaduza - ABC League champions African All Stars will be taking on Premier Soccer League (PSL) team Polokwane City in the Nedbank Last 32 cup.
The game will be played on March 6 at the Peter Mugaba Stadium in Polokwane.
African All Stars media officer Keletso Semasa is urging the community of Kwatsaduza to come on the trip to support the local team.
“It’s a huge achievement that the local players have made it this far to represent the Gauteng region playing against professional players,” he says.
The cup games sees 32 teams from the PSL, National First Division and ABC Motsepe battle it out for a R4.2-million cash prize.
Semasa says that it would be beneficial for the players to have a support system, especially when playing on the opponent’s home ground.
Transport is available for community members who wish to go watch the game, as it will not be broadcast on any sports channels.
A fee of R300 per person is payable before March, 1 which includes transportation and entrance to the soccer match.
The bus will leave from the Tsakane Stadium on the day at 6am.
