Kwatsaduza - Bluebirds Football Club is a local soccer team which was started in 2005 to help promote the sport in the area.

The team is based in Duduza even though most of the players come from different areas in and around Kwatsaduza.

“Our team comprises of various age groups including the u/13, u/15, u/17 and senior team, and so far we are doing well, especially since last year the u/15 team, falling under the Nigel Football Association, obtained a promotion from Siyaphambili Junior League.

“The team is now registered and participating in the Ekurhuleni u/15 Regional Junior League which is affiliated under SAFA and we are currently sitting on number two,” says managing director Vusi Madonsela.

He adds that their home matches are played at the Dunnotter Military Base and their next match will be played there against Mounting Robbers on May 14.
