Local supermarket brings smile to a local team
“We will not be able to succeed in fighting crime and substance abuse without the help of the community.”
Tsakane – Simunye Football Club received a brand new full soccer kit from a local supermarket in Tsakane Mall.
Five teams in Tsakane belonging to the same club have been previously forced to share two soccer kits among themselves during soccer matches, a situation that was not preferable when the teams were scheduled to play on the same day as they were forced to share the same gear.
“The u-15 didn’t have soccer gear, but we could not turn them back because we are trying to keep the young boys off the streets.
“Through months of seeking donations from the local business people with no success, we decided to approach the local supermarket.
