KwaThema – It has been a while since Kaizer Chiefs lost to Orlando Pirates 1 – 2 during the Absa Premiership derby match held at the FNB stadium on Saturday.
Kaizer Chiefs took a lead in the game 15 minutes into the game with Khama Billiat scoring but the excitement died down when Pirates came back.

Innocent Maela scored in the 29th minute and it was followed by another goal from Vincent Pule in the 32nd minute.
Kaizer Chiefs supporter from Langaville Teka Matsepane says they blame the coach, Giovannie Solinas, for the poor performance.
“We started the game at a high note but lost concentration as the game progressed.
“The biggest problem was with the coach’s starting line-up with Benedict Parker (mid-fielder) in the starting line-up and having George Maluleka on the bench.
“The coach’s substitutes were also questionable. He left Dumisani Zuma who was evidently not in the game.
“He should have not sacrificed Khama Billiat in the second round of the game,” he says.

Teka says they have been playing to a draw for years and thought this time around they were better equipped to come out as winners.
“The best team on the day walked away as winners. Pirates was ready to claim their victory and were not in the game for that,” he says.
Orlando Pirates supporter Rangwane Makgabutlane says they are happy about the outcome of the game.
“As we predicted, we won 2 – 1 because we were the best team on the day.
“We worked hard and we walked home as champions on the day,” he says.
Makgabutlane says they appreciate how the organisers ensured that there was enough security at the stadium.
