RDP Masters crowned the 2021 Siyadlala Cup winners
Hopes were high that Nyanyadu Masters would get back in the game by scoring a second goal to equalise; however, time was against them.
Kwa-Thema – Tsamaya Masters League held the Siyadlala Cup final on Sunday afternoon at Tlakula Ground.
The final game was between RDP Masters and Nyanyadu Masters.
The cup is for men who are 35 years and older.
Aubrey Mabona gave the RDP Masters a lead by scoring two goals in the first half.
Lebo Mamashile scored the first goal for Nyanyadu Masters in the second half.

Hopes were high that Nyanyadu Masters would get back in the game by scoring a second goal to equalise; however, time was against them and RDP Masters scored their third goal, concluding the game 3-2.
Mabona was exceptionally happy with the result.
“We dedicate ourselves to practising. It was a tough game but we conquered.
“Discipline and trust between us players and our management is what made us victorious.
“We are even ready for the next league,” he said.
Nyanyadu Masters coach Mosia Molefe was disappointed with the loss and felt at some point the referees were not fair.

He said that they accept the loss though and will prepare to take the cup in the next league.
RDP Masters coach Lucky Mahlangu couldn’t contain his joy over their win.
“Experience helped us to win this game. This is our fifth time winning the Siyadlala Cup, even though it was not consecutive wins.
“We sat down and planned to score in the first half to defeat our opponents.
“I am grateful to my skilful players who are dedicated to this team,” he said.
