Young Achievers lost 3-1; however, the coach, Lazarus Malatji, remains confident they will do well in the league.

Kwa-Thema – The pre-season matches for the women’s local teams took place on Saturday, preparing for league games, at the Kwa-Thema Sports Complex.
The first game was between Young Achievers FC and Tigers FC.
Young Achievers lost 3-1; however, the coach, Lazarus Malatji, remained confident they will do well in the league.
The teams are playing in the Ekurhuleni Women’s League, which is set to resume on March 12.

Teams are preparing for the upcoming Ekurhuleni Women’s League and the Sasol Women’s League.

Fixtures are yet to be announced.
“I am a little disappointed with our performance as it dropped compared to the last game we played.
“I think that’s due to poor attendance from the players’ side.
“But with consistency and commitment, I am confident we will be ready for the league,” said Malatji.
