Kwa-Thema- The weekend-long cold and rainy weather has affected the ongoing Springs LFA holiday tournament.
The games started last month and saw the u-11, u-13, u-16 and u-17 teams putting their best boots on to make it to the finals set for April 30.
Team coach Mkhonza Mkhonzana said because of the bad weather forecast, it was decided to cancel all the scheduled games from Friday.

“We could not risk the players’ health by forcing the games to go ahead as scheduled.
“We will meet up as the LFA and decide on new fixtures soon,” he explained.
The young players are fighting to be crowned as defenders, mid-fielder, goalkeepers, and the best player will also walk away with medals and awards.
Teams that make it to the finals will also receive a new soccer kit.
