Kwa-Thema –Kwa-Thema Striders opened their 2023 season with a breakfast run at Sphola’s Place in Kwa-Thema on Saturday.
Striders deputy chairperson Sipho Skosana said, “We were welcoming our members both old and new.
“We are focusing on growing as a team while improving a healthy lifestyle as individuals.”
The breakfast run was divided into two categories, 21km and 10km runs. The runs started and ended at Sphola’s Place.

According to Skosana, some of their members couldn’t come as they had already signed up for the Dischem run which took place on Sunday.
The Striders will have an AGM for the year 2022 on Saturday at Sphola’s Place, at the corner of Rapodile and Shabangu streets, at 10:00.
