Kwa-Thema – The Nkabinde Primary School girls’ soccer team is flying as it has been winning tournaments from the local level to the regional level.
The girls played in the Ekurhuleni winter games, against schools from other districts, on Tuesday, at Benoni Northerns.
Nkabinde played three games and won all three, putting them as the number one girls’ team in Ekurhuleni.
On Friday, the team will be playing in the provincial games at Krugersdorp High where they will be facing teams from other regions.
Principal Vusi Nkabinde said, “I am proud of my girls and I know for sure that they will perform well on Friday and will be the ones who will represent Gauteng in the national games.”
