Teams prepare for upcoming regional playoffs
The first runners-up will receive R1000 cash, jerseys, a silver trophy and 25 medals. The second runners-up will receive R750 cash, a bronze plate and 25 bronze medals.
Tsakani – The Brakpan Local Football Association hosted its first annual Champ of Champs Tournament over the weekend.
Magic Ten FC from the Germiston LFA, Maquzu FC from the Brakpan LFA, who were the runners-up, TFG FC, who are the reigning champions, CIA FC from Brakpan, who finished second in the league games, and U17 and U19 teams from the Eastrand Athletic Academy received invitations to compete in the tournament.
The finals will be played at the Tsakani Stadium on Saturday at 09:00. The winning team will get R2 000 cash, jerseys and 25 gold medals.

TFG FC, Eastrand Athletic Academy and Magic Ten made it to the semi-finals.
Duduza and the Springs Local Football Associations could not participate in the tournament because the league games are still on.
The association’s convener, Thuso Mtsweni, said the tournament aimed to support the champion because they would participate in the regional playoffs set for August 4 to 11 in Germiston.
The winning team will move into the SAB League.
“We hope the money they win will assist during the playoffs, and they will have a new kit,” he added.
