Who will win the Councillor Sibiya Tournament?
Some fans are rooting for Archaar Boys
Tsakani – The Councillor Sibiya Tournament has been taking place since August 9 at the Malandela Sports Ground.
The knockout stages were interesting for fans that are now looking forward to the finals.
Mduduzi Hlongwane said, “We applaud the councillor’s initiative to start these games and to celebrate women.
The games have been fun and we are ready for the finals. My bet is that Achaar Boys will take this one.”
On Sunday the top eight teams faced each other with the following scores:
- Chillie Boys 1 – 3 Yoghurt
- Amajimbos 3 – 2 Siwele
- Last Gaido 0 – 1 Kingsway Juventus
- Archaar Boys 4 – 2 Amazababa
Yoghurt, Amajimbos, Kingsway Juventus and Archaar Boys are through to the semis and will play to be the tournament winners on Sundays.
The games will start at 08:30 while the final will be at 16:30. The curtain raisers will be two ladies’ matches between 12:30 and 16:00.
There will be surprise guests on the day.
