Soccer tourney to encourage youngsters to stay off drugs
The soccer tournament encourages healthy living.
Tsakani – In partnership with the Nigel Local Football Association, Youth on the Move (YOTM) Football Club is hosting a substance abuse awareness tournament during the school holidays at the Tsakani Ext 9 ground.
The tournament started on September 30 and continues until Saturday.
YOTM chairperson Mbali Xaba said, “This is to encourage young people not to smoke and practice a healthy lifestyle while they showcase their talent.
“We are saying, #staying in corners and smoking drugs is not swag.”
The tournament is open for juniors from U11 to U17.
