Tsakani – Tavern owners and teams of the Old Crocks soccer again faced each other in their Sunday games at the Ext 6 Malandela Ground in Tsakani this past Sunday.
A new team, Bafana Bafana Tavern, has joined the games, while Kwagga has left.
The results:
- Bafana Bafana Tavern 1 – 3 Mhlongo’s Tavern
- Etshanini United 0 – 3 Lettia’s Inn
- Moses Tavern 2 – 1 Masgodi Sweepers
- Beccers Inn 3 – 1 Jacobs FC
- Morena XI 1 – 4 Madisenke FC
After the games, the teams will head to one of the taverns for a chillas that rotates weekly between them.
The founder of the games, Nonhlanhla Kumalo, said they rotate to support each other as businesses and help each other grow.
The games will continue on Sunday.
