Young soccer player thrives in new team
Thuto Maimela is Black Ball's player of the season and top goal scorer.
Kwa-Thema – A Kwa-Thema-born and raised soccer player, Thuto Maimela (12), has done well in the 2023 season playing for his new club, Black Ball United FC from Boksburg.
Thuto grew up playing for a Kwa-Thema-based club, TP Football before he joined Black Ball last year.
The former top goal scorer of TP Football bagged two awards in his first season as a Black Ball player. He is the top goal scorer and the player of the season 2023.
His former coach, Tebogo Mdluli, said he was proud of how Thuto has been doing and that he kept the values he was taught at TP.
