Hiking club to host meet and greet

Local hiking club Rea Hamba will host a meet and greet on January 20.

It is in preparation for the club’s first hike of the year.

Collien Tapiwa Madimba of the club said they will also be handing out medals to some of the members who perfomed well last year.

Attendees will be welcomed with a session of aerobics and exercises.

Madimba said they are still accepting new members.

“Our mission is to help the community stay active without making a profit,” he said.

The meet and greet will be held at Scotties Pub in Selection Park from 07:00 to 10:00.

Rea Hamba’s first hike will be on January 27 at Olifantsfontein.
