Tsamaya under new leadership

George Ngoma is the new chairperson.

Kwa-Thema – The Tsamaya Social Football League is now under new leadership. This comes after a general meeting on Sunday at Marotis Tavern in Masimini, Kwa-Thema.

The new committee is:

  • Chairperson: George Ngoma
  • Deputy chairperson: Lucky Sibeko
  • Secretary: Mosia Molefe
  • Deputy secretary: Robert Kunene
  • Treasurer: Sibusiso Zwane
  • President: Joe Moletsane.

They will serve for the 2024/25 season.

Former treasurer Dumisani Dlamini said, “I vacated the position of treasurer after 14 years serving Tsamaya, because of work commitments, family business and age.

“Let the new blood run with it; we will always be there giving support and guidance. Therefore, I handed over the baton to Sibusiso Zwane.”

Dlamini said he personally nominated Zwane and seconded by a majority of the teams.

“If you look at the composition of the EXCO, it represents the continuity and togetherness of our league. We don’t have position-mongers in our midst. They will serve a term,” he said.

Dlamini will still be part of Tsamaya as the acting PRO until the position is filled.

“We want youngsters to be in charge. We have a plan and have a big pool to draw such talent. We call it the Tsamaya Vision. We appeal to our membership to support the newly elected leadership come rainy or shiny days; we should stick together. We are sharing gained experiences as our slogan stipulates it,” said Dlamini.
