Players, parents and coaches clean tennis court

Kwa-Thema – Coaches, players and parents from the Sparks Tennis Club took it upon themselves to clean up the Highland Tennis Court on Saturday.

Emma Madingoane from the club asked the community to stop socialising at the courts as they end up damaging them.

“Our players use these courts to play and to keep themselves busy so that they avoid involving themselves in wrong things which take place in the community,” she said.

The facility needs to be graded and an appeal has been made to the public to assist with this task.

“We are trying to keep the place clean and that is why we’ll be coming back to clean again on April 6,” she said.
