Kwa-Thema – Jealous Down FC U13S defended their league title at the Springs Local Football Association (LFA) without a single loss this season, building on last season’s momentum.

Coach Ayabonga ‘Jobe’ Nxumalo said it was not an easy journey, but he his beyond grateful for his team’s performance.

“I am grateful to coach such a talented group of hard-working individuals. They proved their potential during the pre-season.

“I told them this season we had to be better than the previous season. Our previous position last season proved us to be deadly and unshaken; we had to maintain that,” he explained.

The team has continued to raise the bar, achieving:

• Second place in the SAFA Regional Tournament – Champions of Champions
• Langaville Tournament Champions
• Kasi 2 Kasi Woza Uzobona Woza Uzobuka Champions
• Sidwell Junior Top 8 Tournament Champions
• 2026 Springs LFA League Champions

“We will continue to serve the community by doing God’s work, keeping the kids occupied and off the street, and away from substance abuse. I am proud to be the Jealous Down FC coach,” he concluded.
