Jazz with Dovola
"Our love for Jazz started when we were still young boys that was during the 1980s," say jazz presenters Pat ‘Dovola’ Mabena and Mthuthuzeli Ntalo.
It has been seven years since Dovola started hosting an annual jazz picnic on January 1 where young and old come and listen to jazz music and have fun together with their families on the first day of the New Year.
“Because everyone feels tired and needs to relax on January 1, we want to ensure that no one travels a long distance for entertainment, but they get it where they live,” he says.

The Ruffle tickets are available for only R50 and on the day there will be great prizes to be won. The event will start at 12pm on January 1.
“Badimo Jazz Band from Pretoria will entertain the crowd through their live performance,” says Mthuthuzeli Ntalo.
