On the big screen: 204: Getting Away With Murder

Starring: Mikey Shultz, Nigel McGurk, Kappie Smith, Piet Byleveld, Roger Kebble, Guy Kebble and Glen Agliotti.

Director: Warren Batchelor

Brett Kebble was a charismatic businessman in South Africa whose meteoric rise to fame and fortune in the mining world was followed by a startling fall from grace.

His life ultimately ended in a hail of bullets on a road in Northern Johannesburg on September 27, 2005.

But the story behind his death (revealed in this documentary) is so bizarre that most would presume it to be fiction.

In 204: Getting Away With Murder, director/producer Warren Batchelor interviews not only the three self-confessed killers but also the Kebble family, Jackie Selebi, Glen Agliotti and Piet Byleveld to explore a fascinating tale of greed, corruption, fraud and murder for which no-one has been held accountable.

The film includes exclusive first-hand accounts of the murder as well as reveals the belly of South Africa’s dark underworld in this gripping documentary feature.
