The Cool Dads Foundation to host a Valentine’s Day concert to raise funds

“This concert is not only a celebration of love, but also promotion of authentic fatherhood, which is the aim of the foundation.”

Cool Dads Foundation will host another star-studded Love Potion Concert fund-raiser on Valentine’s Day.

“This concert is not only a celebration of love, but also promotion of authentic fatherhood, which is the aim of the foundation,” explains the NGO’s founder, Bongani Luvalo.

“Over the years, the donor funding has decreased enormously making it more difficult for NGOs like Cool Dads Foundation to fulfil their mandate and assist those who form part of their beneficiaries.

“With all these different challenges, NGOs have been forced to device different strategies to ensure that they have funds for their operations and programmes.”

The foundation was formed after Luvalo’s realisation that many fathers play a limited role in the development and upbringing of their children and it seeks to address such issues in society.

With performances by the effervescent Shekhinah and soulful Samthing Soweto, the night promises to be a love-struck atmosphere filled with entertainment.

“Your support will be highly appreciated as we strive to build a society of present and caring fathers.”

The show will start at 7pm at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena.
