Experience the sounds of jazz with local artists
“I give people an opportunity to experience live music without having to break the bank."
Tsakani – Members of the public are invited to the annual Street Music event on December 5 at 2956 Ndabezitha Street.
The event is free and aims to showcase local talent and boost the local economy.
It was founded by jazz and expressive bass guitarists artist Bongani Phly Mnisi.
For this year’s edition, he has partnered with EK FM, MV Clothing and the BangMadeIt Photography.
“I give people an opportunity to experience live music without having to break the bank.
“What they take with them is the experience,” said Mnisi.
On the day he will be launching his brand new single titled Izizwe.
“This is a happy song and I know people will enjoy it. It channels positive vibes.
“When I was recording it, the melody came first. From there I was taken to different places, I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece,” he said.
