Join the Cool Dads Foundation in celebrating Valentine’s Day

Kwatsaduza – NPO Cool Dads Foundation will be celebrating love with a Valentine’s Day concert on February 13 at Carnival City’s Sun Park in Brakpan.
The event will feature the likes of Zonke Dikana, Mandisi Dyantyis, Nomfundo Moh and Bobo Jay Nzima.
Founder and CEO of the Cool Dads Foundation, Bongani Luvalo said the concert is not only about the celebration of love but also the promotion of authentic fatherhood, which is what the foundation is about.

“The foundation has enlisted the help of big names in the love movement.
“We have the powerhouse Zonke Dikana who had made a name for herself as a singer, songwriter, producer and she is a multi-award winning artist.
“She has the stage presence to hold crowds captive as she serenades.
“Concert goers can also expect to see Mandisi Dyantyis who is a vocalist, trumpeter and musical director known for his versatility in jazz,” he said.
The foundation was established in 2012 to promote positive fatherhood through family-orientated activities, parenting seminars and workshops, mentorship programmes as well as lobbying, advocacy and legal counsel to teach fathers of their rights and responsibilities, especially unmarried fathers.

Luvalo pointed out that NPOs depend on sponsors and donations and over the years the donor funding has decreased enormously making it more difficult for NGOs like Cool Dads Foundation to fulfil their mandate and assist beneficiaries.
“This requires NPOs to be innovative in their fund-raising to sustain their programmes.
“Proceeds from the concert will go towards the Cool Dads Foundation,” he explained.
