‘It took me four years to put it together’

Kwa-Thema – Local artist TDK Original Makhased has released his Extended Play (EP) titled Writer’s Block.
Tshidiso Leo Makhubu said this is a universal project that took him four years to put together.
He worked with international and local producers and artists such as Svgar Beats, Troublle, JaJa, Omen Nemo, Gift, TP Thapelo and Mr Holok.
The EP consists of 11 original compositions that include amapiano, kwaito and rap.
He said the title is inspired by his spirituality.

“The universe and my ancestors are the ones who direct my creative process. I don’t just write for the sake of writing, I am guided by my intuition. Anyone who listens to it will be taken on a journey,” he said.
He added that more music is on the way.
“I am in the studio, working on new music with my now resident producer, Svgar Beats from Ukraine. So fans can expect a whole lot more this year,” he said.
