Artist gets international recognition

He said music is a calling for him and that it has contributed a lot to the person he has become.

Kwa-Thema – Hip-hop and Afro-pop artist Sifiso Morontshi (28) is up to win four awards at the first African Awards 2022 in Ghana this month.
He has been nominated in the following categories: Rapper of the Year, High Life Artist of the Year, Afro-beat Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year.

The awards aim to reward individuals who have contributed to various or diverse industries.
He has been in the music industry for over 15 years and said this is his first award nomination.
“I am thrilled to be nominated, especially since the awards are continental.
“With this opportunity, I am hoping it will open doors for me and expose my music to the global market.
“For me, this is proof that my talent is well received across the continent,” he stated.
The nominations are for the following singles: Ushelwa nge Lobola, Blessed and Senzeni nna.
