Wellness Drive aims to connect Kwa-Thema community with vital support services

Join East Rand Palliative Care for complimentary health screenings and valuable information about healthcare and palliative support services.

East Rand Palliative Care will be hosting a Community Wellness Drive on June 26 and 27 June at its Wellness Centre at Food Town Hyper Savemoor in Brakpan.

The aim of the drive is to reach more people in the Brakpan, Kwa-Thema and surrounding areas, and to help the community better understand the support available through the Wellness Centre, as well as East Rand Palliative Care’s broader care offering.

The event will give community members the opportunity to meet the team, ask questions, learn more about palliative care and the support available to individuals and families facing a life-threatening illness.

Healthcare professionals will also be conducting complimentary health screenings on the day.

The wellness drive will take place on both days from 09:00 to 15:00. Food Town Hyper Savemoor is located at the corner of Ergo Road and 12th Avenue in Vulcania.
