While many of us often forget what true victory looks like, a Comrades Marathon runner reminded viewers that compassion and camaraderie carry more weight than medals.
Sometimes, taking a few minutes out of your day to lend a hand is all it takes to help someone else achieve their dream.
Let’s face it, life is busy and sometimes, the daily grind takes its toll… so much so that we don’t stop to notice the little things that give life meaning – for ourselves or others.
Often, a kind word or a helping hand is all it takes to help others stay on ‘track’. This is exactly what happened when a Comrades Marathon runner took the time to reach out and help another runner get back on their feet… with the finish line just in sight.
As the information posted with the video states: “They say his name is Malume Solly – and though the cameras didn’t catch his bib clearly, heaven surely caught his heart.”
This was one small act of kindness that cost nothing and will last a lifetime!
