Ancestors and genealogy

Get going on that family tree you always wanted to compile!

ANYONE interested in learning more about their family members and would like to start a family tree is invited to attend a free genealogy course starting on Saturday September 21 from 10:00 to 12:00, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 63 Heidelburg service road (red brick chapel).

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned genealogist they can offer helpful tips and advice to help you connect with your living or deceased family members worldwide or who maybe live just around the corner.

There will be experienced staff on site to help you with all your questions and concerns so feel free to bring all your information along. They can help you organise the information and search for family members on a worldwide family history internet site.

There will be Wi-Fi access for handheld devices – I-pads. If you bring a laptop you may need a wireless card just in case. To book or for more information/queries contact Elder Reeve or Elder Mead 083 577 1856.
