ALBERTON – On December 14, 2013 an illegal dumping took place by a truck from a cleaning company that operates in Alberton and the East Rand.
A community member was taking pictures of the vehicle and the worker of the company apparently became aggressive and started swearing at the community member.
On January 9, the RECORD was in contact with the company and asked them what they intend to do about the situation. “The driver had to go back and remove the plastic bags that represent the company. The company will engage in communicating with the drivers to educate them about illegal dumping,” said a company representative.
