Rules
Every competition has a set of rules and regulations, so read the terms and conditions before entering the competition:
Ballots suspected of being fixed will be discarded. The five prize winners will be from the first five ballots drawn via a lucky draw. A short list of winners will be chosen and winners will be contacted telephonically. Should reasonable attempts to contact a winner prove unsuccessful, then the next winner in line will be contacted.
Final prizes awarded to the five prize winners present at the function will be done via a lucky draw. Winners need to be present at the awards function on October 28. Further details of this function (time, venue, etc.) will be given at least two weeks prior to the function. Winners who do not attend the function will forfeit their prize. Winners must agree to be photographed by Caxton Community Newspapers. Photographs will be published in the Caxton local newspapers and on related websites. Winners’ names will be published on the Best of Ekurhuleni website.
Caxton employees, prize sponsors, their ad agencies and immediate families may complete ballots but are not eligible to win the five published prizes. The obligation to deliver prizes to the winners is undertaken by the sponsors. Caxton cannot, in any way, be held liable for failure of the sponsors to deliver the prizes for this competition. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
