Leaking pipe creates a pool

Clean water still goes to waste after reports to EMM

“A MASSIVE and impressive public swimming pool is presently under construction right opposite my property. While the construction is under way, a leaking water pipe in front of my property is creating a mini pool in my yard,” said Dolly Martin from Ferrari Street, Eden Park.

According to Dolly, the leaking pipe was reported to EMM rates offices and after reporting the problem, EMM workers did arrive to look at the pipe and assess the damage.

“The pipe started to leak in April and the workers came in May. They dug a hole around the bubbling clean water from the pipe that had become a self-made fountain. they closed the hole and just left with the water still bubbling out and running into my yard to form a pool,” said the gogo.

The leaking pipe seems to be connected to a pipe from a fire hydrant not for from Dolly’s property.

EMM was contacted for comment.
