The 36-year-old accused of the murder of a nine-year-old girl in Eden Park appeared in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on November 19.
According to police, the accused was arrested following the discovery of the girl’s body on November 10.
The girl had been missing since 7 am on that day. The matter was postponed to December 3 for the formal bail application of the accused.
• The RECORD has reliably learnt that a second suspect has been charged with crimes against the same victim.
The second case has been proceeding in the judge’s chambers and the media can therefore provide no further information.
