Ward 38 councillor Malcolm Maifala-Masebe will be hosting a Christmas lunch for pensioners in the area on December 17.
He urges the community to be part of the event by nominating pensioners they know who may want to be part of the event.
During the Christmas lunch, he will also take the opportunity to discuss any service delivery concerns with the elderly in the ward.
“I have found it necessary to take time to treat the elderly in the area to a Christmas meal during the festive season, ahead of the actual Christmas Day. The aim is to spend time with the elderly at this time and appreciate them as residents in the area,” said Maifala-Masebe.
