A male suspect was arrested earlier this afternoon after a house break-in on Chasewater Street, New Redruth.
Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director from CPS Security said the control room received a call from a member of the public who spotted two men jumping over a wall and into a residents property.
“Our reaction and tactical units were dispatched and resulted in one suspect being apprehended,” he said.
Stolen police equipment was found in the suspect’s possession.

A case of housebreaking and possession of stolen state property was opened.
