Clean-up keeps Alberton CBD alleyway hygienic

Ward 106 councillor Tim Denny, alongside his committee members, hosted a clean-up in an Alberton CBD alleyway over the weekend.

Ward 106 councillor Tim Denny and committee members arranged a clean-up of the two alleyways in Voortrekker Road on January 15.

Denny said this is after the community reached out to him, informing him of an unbearable stench.

“We then reached out as a team and arranged a clean-up, as these alleyways were said to be a health hazard. Part of the project is to get gates controlling movement as a means to ensure safety,” he said.

He also thanked Lindane Supplies and Logistics for assisting with the clean-up, as well as Mandla and Jeff of the City of Ekurhuleni.
