Justin’s once-in-a-lifetime opportunity

Justin needs financial support to make his dream come true.

Justin Kleynhans (18), a Hoërskool Alberton learner and dancer, was selected to be in one of ABS Productions’ short films.
This dancer from Florentia went for an audition and had to do perform before big names such as Izak Davel, Desire Gardner, Bradley Olivier, Albert Maritz, Amor Vittone and Vilje Maritz.
“What an honor it was to dance in front of such talented people,” he said.
Recently, he received an email letting him know he has been chosen for a dance short film.

He can dance
Justin has competed in many dance competitions, walking away with prizes. He has also danced as back-up for some local singers.
Dancing is not only his passion, but it is also his escape when things get difficult.
“I was born to dance,” Justin said.
He is part of the NAPA Drama and Dance Factory SA – Alberton and Dinwiddie.
“Dance allows me to exceed my own expectations and helps me to discover new things about myself.
“Dancing brings people together through creativity and music. Dance brings happiness and unity.”

A huge opportunity
Justin’s first drama workshop will start in Febraury, but it costs R15 000 for all four workshops, which will take place over four months.
“It is a big amount and they want the first amount on February 1, but if we all could stand together and just contribute something it will make one of my dreams come true. This a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” he said.
There are two options to choose from: pay the R15 000 in one instalment or pay it over four instalments, equalling R4 750 per month.
“I know I can dance because it has been my passion ever since I could dance, but the drama part is a whole new ballgame for me. That is why it is important for me to attend these workshops and follow through with the programme.
“This could open so many doors for me as a dancer and soon-to-be actor. To learn from actors and dancers. This dream of mine is now right in front me and I just need a little help to make this happen,” Justin said.

How you can help
Justin is looking for anyone who can sponsor him or even individuals who can contribute what they can.
“Every little bit will help and will be highly appreciated,” he concluded.
Those who want to help can contact his mother, Rika Kleynhans, on 072 980 9835.
