Community invited to assist in Parklands High’s facelift

Locals are invited to join in on the revamp and clean-up operation of Parklands High School, which has moved to April 23.

Learners of Parklands High School also cleaned their school.

Due to weather, the clean-up and revamping of Parklands High School’s sports fields have been postponed to April 23.

Organiser Dorene van Tonder of Rawson Properties said they need to raise R111 500 to resurface the three netball fields at the school.

She also urged all local businesses in Alberton to buy advertising space on the school’s fence as part of their fund-raiser. Funds will go towards the education and improvement of the school.
