Members from the Gauteng Highway Patrol arrested two suspects in City Deep on June 6, after receiving information about a hijacked trailer offloading stolen copper at the facility.
The officers found copper valued R15m, a truck and a trailer suspected to be stolen.

Two foreign nationals, aged 32 and 38, were arrested on the scene and will appear in court soon on charges of possession of suspected stolen property.
The provincial commissioner of the police in Gauteng, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela welcomed the arrest and applauded the members for their swift reaction and dedication to fighting crime.
“Essential infrastructure-related crimes are a priority to the police in Gauteng as it impacts negatively on the economy and service delivery of the province.
“To ensure continuous positive successes, the province has established a multi-disciplinary task team that includes law enforcement agencies, state-owned entities and industry stakeholders. This is to ensure that resources and expertise are brought together to curb these crimes,” said Mawela.
