Gauteng Province Education Career Exhibition Roadshow to be launched

The Sedibeng East District Education in partnership with Gauteng Province Education is launching a Career Exhibition Roadshow.

The venues will be in Vereeniging, Heidelberg and Meyerton.

Vereeniging will be first in line on August 17, followed by Heidelberg on August 18 and finishing off in Meyerton on August 19.

The venues will be confirmed at a later stage.

The aim is for Grade Nine learners to firstly make correct subject choices during the third term as it will have an impact on possible career choices when they reach Grade 12.

It is also crucial for Grade 12 learners to make informed decisions with possible career choices available before the end of 2022.

All Grade Nine and 12 learners in the Sedibeng East District are invited to attend the planned career exhibitions.
There will also be higher institutions in attendance offering skills programmes, unit standards, certificates, diploma and degree programmes.

They will be available to provide and support learners with information based on specific subject choices at the end of Grade Nine and possible career options that can be followed after Grade 12.

Subject choices are vitally important in possible careers for the learners after their school and higher education days are over.
