Alberton High learners enjoy in leadership camp
After taking part in a leadership camp, packed with great experiences, a group of Alberton High School learners finally returned home.
A group of Alberton High School’s Grade 11 learners recently made beautiful memories and gained much-needed experience at a leadership camp at Sediba Kwêle Adventure Camp.
The group underwent leadership challenges while taking part in fun-filled activities.
They took part in physical outdoor activities, mostly teaching them about balancing school and everyday life.
Facilitators of Sediba Kwêle also took turns offering lessons as well as engaging in activities that focused on team building.
Favour Bika, of Alberton High School, said: “It was a fun-filled event that was filled with so much love, joy, passion and learning. The camp allowed learners to work in an adventurous environment, allowing them to explore all different types of trials.”
Bika told the Alberton Record the leadership camp also became a safe place as they worked hard during the day and celebrated at night.
