Donations from local businessman Damian Testa, of Engen New Redruth, included the creation of a vegetable garden with seasonal vegetables, full landscaping of the garden, and resurfacing and paving of the parking area.

Broken Wings chairperson Sharon Roberts said: “I was overwhelmed with the donations, especially the gym equipment which would benefit our adults through the development of muscle strength and stamina.”

Roberts further extended an invitation to people to enrol their adult children with disabilities at Broken Wings.

“At Broken Wings Association, we welcome new applications and believe that, in conjunction with our regular exercise programme, we can improve their cognitive development, social cohesion, and gross motor skills,” said Roberts.

Hard at work gives Broken Wings a whole new look.
