A total of 100 bags have been distributed

Founder of EPIC Foundation says thank you.

The Glen Shopping Centre chose to support the EPIC Foundation for Women’s Month and ran a campaign where they asked shoppers and residents to donate goods for the foundation’s comfort packs.

A total of 100 bags were made up and handed out with the donated goods from The Glen Shopping Centre.

The foundation is an organisation whose aim is to develop, manage and sustain various projects and initiatives that assist survivors.

Some of the donated goods.

“Drawstring bags, printed with both our logos, were handed out to shoppers who went to buy some of the items on the list. The bags were then returned to the shopping centre,” said Alta McMaster, founder of the EPIC Foundation.

“We are so thankful for The Glen Shopping Centre, Value Co. and Revival City College who all made this possible. We sent out 100 bags and there are still goodies left.”

The comfort packs given to survivors when they are making the first step in either reporting or leaving a terrible situation serve as a sign of hope and comfort.

“To The Glen Shopping Centre and everyone who supported this initiative, thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” Alta concluded.
