Dogs spread joy at Shield Express Car Wash
In efforts to promote JOY dogs and make people’s day a little brighter, the JOY dogs took a joyride on a skateboard on November 3 at The Glen Shield Express Car Wash.
According to Susan Green, owner of JOY dogs, her four-legged friends (who visit elderly care facilities and schools, as well as work for Dulux) learned to skateboard while in lockdown.
“We usually practice at Glenvista Shopping Centre. We were sponsored by Shield Express Car Wash for a free wash for the JOY Dogmobile last week and did an impromptu photo shoot with the dogs as well as some skateboarding,” Green said.
“We are also permitted to visit the Mall of the South every Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 and make everyone’s day with our visits to the mall. We’re always busy somewhere spreading some joy,” Green added.
