St Martin’s honours top Prep School learners
Seven St Martin’s learners receive accolades for best efforts in the classroom and sports field.
St Martin’s Prep School hosted its annual Speech Day on November 25.
Learners were acknowledged for their exemplary efforts in the classroom and on the sports fields. Special mention should be made of Mika Chetty who was awarded the Dux Scholar award, the highest English, Afrikaans and social sciences awards as well as the award for outstanding general knowledge.

Sibahle Khumalo was awarded trophies for the highest marks in isiZulu and natural science as well as the Spirit of St Martin’s award for the learner who shows the grace of obedience, compassion for others, zeal for the truth and a humble spirit.

Daniel Li achieved top honours for mathematics and for the Grade Seven learner who shows perseverance, tenacity, staunchness, steadfastness, tirelessness, staying power and grit.

Mokgosi Mekgwe was awarded the Sword of Honour and the Heads Shield for dedication and a positive attitude towards others.
Sportswoman of the year was awarded to Tayla Fisher and sportsman of the year to William Xiang.
