Private security joins forces with Moffat View Police for safer streets

Private security firms, with the Moffat View Police Station management and the Community Policing Forum (CPF), convened on August 30 to address the pressing issue of crime in the Moffat View Police Station precinct.

The meeting was a platform to brainstorm collaborative strategies between law enforcement and private security to combat criminal activities.

During the discussions, acting station commander Lieutenant Colonel Shunny Govender underscored the significance of this partnership.

He emphasised that the combined efforts of the police and security companies would play a pivotal role in cultivating a safer environment for residents and businesses.
